A limited edition of 18. Found audio tape, nickel-silver plated fork, steel/lead counterbalance. £250
This edition is parallel to Miller's 2007 work Periphery which was shown at the RESIDENTS exhibition, Espace Electra, Paris November 2007 to March 2008. Periphery comprises of 36 strands of audio tape collected over 18 months by the artist along the edges of the Boulevard Périphérique, Paris. Each piece of magnetic tape rests in the tines of a fork counterbalanced at the edge of a plaster-surfaces table. Each fork corresponds, clockwise, with the location it was found at. A ceiling fan overhanging the table agitates the tape.
